I just got an email informing me that we are scheduled for yet another high school reunion come October. I have been to several of these functions and really don’t look forward to attending another. If it wasn’t for a very good friend that I went to school with, who just pesters the hell out of me to go with him so that he doesn’t have to sit by himself all night long, I wouldn’t have attended any of them at all. Some things should just remain in the past and let go of………
So I went online earlier today and found some real decent Myrtle Beach vacation deals on the website of http://www.grandeshores.com/default-en.html. South Carolina sounds real nice right now, a great beach, awesome golf courses and the best night life that any beach has to offer on the east coast. And since BP has messed up most of the other beaches that people have flocked to each and every summer Myrtle Beach is really swinging right no. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to find a decent Myrtle Beach hotel at this point in the game, but taking a few minutes online did the trick right nicely for my needs and wants this summer.
I used to go to Myrtle Beach with my family, back in the day. We all enjoyed the golf courses in that area and all the other things that Myrtle Beach has to offer. It has been a few years since I’ve been there and I can’t wait to see how much is still the same, yet I’m sure that there has been a good amount of change as well. Hopefully it’s all good. The Grande Shores Resort advertises Southern hospitality and that sounds good to me!
We were warned that we could expect a few thunder showers yesterday afternoon, but my god what a storm that turned out to be. I had taken a stroll down to the city flea market, it was an extremely hot and humid day, the vendors were all anxious to leave and get out of the heat. All of a sudden the winds kicked up, big time, the sounds of all of the merchandise being blown over and crashing was as loud as the thunder, with papers & posters flying through the air and numerous canvas tents that most of the vendors use for shade were flying about like balloons.
I made it to my car right as the rains came. I felt bad leaving so many of the vendors in such a state, but I asked a few of them if they needed by help, but they all seemed good to go. I’m sure thousands of dollars were lost yesterday in merchandise, props and equipment, not a profitable one for most of them in the end.
I hear that people that want to go to the beach have found themselves in dire straights due to BP’s issues with their oil crisis and that the Myrtle Beach best hotels are booking up very quickly. The east coast is such a mess so I’m glad that at least Myrtle Beach is now thriving. I have always enjoyed North Myrtle Beach to visit and get some nice golf games in when I’m there enjoying all that the beach has to offer.
At this point I would definitely utilize the Internet to find a Myrtle Beach hotel that has vacancies for this season. A great website to use is http://www.horizonmyrtlebeach.com/default-en.html, I have used it in the past and it has always been a great resource for my needs and wants. I’ve been going to Myrtle Beach since I was a kid. My family got us kids into golf at very young ages and we always had a blast on family vacations when it came to having water activities and golf.
I’m glad that Myrtle Beach is now getting some hard core visitors, they have been advertising very heavily these past couple of years since people have been cutting down on their expenses, thanks to our government and the economic issues that have impacted so many of us.
Apparently there are several preachers who are letting their mouths get away with them. While I was looking up the previous Preacher’s Blooper, there were several more to choose from, so I decided to check a few of them out. This one is seriously a “Blooper” I mean what was this guy thinking anyway?
