There is a lot of talk about firearms going on right now. There generally is a lot of talk about them, but now more than with the recent shootings that have occurred, but I don’t really want to get into all of that. I’m just thinking that firearms just might be on their way to being harder and harder to get for the common citizen so I want to get my gun cabinets and weapons all in order, take some inventory, doing some cleaning, some selling, buying, bartering and or swapping before it gets too dang hard to do anything with a lot more hassle that it is all ready.

Deer Hunting with Jesus
A good buddy of mine took on the task of writing a book and he called me up the other evening and asked if he could come over, that he had something to give me. He showed up at my door with a six pack and an autographed copy of his newly published book entitled “Deer Hunting with Jesus” – Dispatches from America’s class war - ”A raging, hilarious, and profane love song to the great American redneck.” by my good friend himself – Joe Bageant.
We spent a pleasant evening drinking his beer, talking about his book and rehashing the good old days until 1:30 that morning. It was reall good seeing my old friend and am so tickled that he took the time to come over to hand deliver his book that I can’t wait to start reading.
