Everyone loves the taste of food cooked on a grill. Learning to cook over an open flame is part of getting your “Man Card” and you get bonus points if that cooking is out in the woods or on the beach.

The stores are starting to mark down their summer furniture, toys and other seasonnal items, and I have my eye an a Coleman portable grill. Right now it’s listed at $149 and if they mark it down at least 20% then that baby is MINE.

I have a little Weber kettle grill that uses charcoal. I have mastered the art of making fire and cooking raw meat over it. Now I want to move up to the next level and use propane, and try to cook other things like fresh caught fish and marinated veggies.

So, let’s hope that Coleman grill goes on sale before they sell out all their stock and the weather is still warm. I can bring that baby home to fire it up on the deck and feast upon my grilled trout fillets with corn on the cob, then load it in the truck for my next fishing trip!
