Jupiter Trust Litigation

My eldest sister has been busy with numerous doctors appointments since discovering the small brain tumor in her brain and that she is suffering from a sleep disorder called Narcolepsy. And now they are talking heart issues which is disturbing since heart problems do tend to run in the family.

So now there are even more doctors and specialist being brought on board that she needs to make appointments for and talk with, with even more tests involved. Since they discovered her Narcolepsy she has stopped driving so all of these appointments are a big deal because it entails trying to find someone who can drive her back and forth for all of her appointments, medical and legal alike. They are talking about the possibility of an overnight hospital stay next month to do some exploratory procedures which is a bit unsettling for her and everyone close to her.

During all of the madness so has turned to Jupiter Trust Litigation to assist her with her estate planning, updating her will and all the other legal issues and options that go along with getting all your affairs in order at a time such as this. Auto Lift From Best Buy Auto Equipment

Most people I know are getting excited about getting money back here real soon from having done the yearly chore of filing our tax returns. From what I hear is that a good amount of this money is going straight to credit card companies that must really rake it in and totally love this time of year when so many people are using their tax money to keep them all in business and in the red.

My brother-in-law just got his check and went immediately online to order the products that he has been anxious to get going so that he can start bringing in some more money through his “fix it shop” that he has built out back. It takes money to make money, there is no doubt about that. It will be great when he gets the auto lift that he ordered from best buy auto equipment. He has been on their mailing list for the last couple of years and has done a good amount of business with them and keeps coming back for more, so they must be doing something right. He isn’t known for being quiet and easy-going, actually he can be a real pain in the neck at times, but a good guy with a good heart that keeps my sister and their kids happy.

Once he gets this car lift delivered, installed and ready to go, I believe that he will start doing more side jobs that he has turned down until he gets this much-anticipated auto lift. I know that I’ll be turning to him for some work that he has been promising me from all the help I have provided for him during this whole process of getting his shop built and ready for business.

Undercover Boss – The Reality Show That Makes A Difference

Your company picked a 401K plan as part of their benefits package. They tempted you to sign up for it and then promised to match money up to a certain (low) percentage of your salary. For a lot of people, the 401K is the only retirement effort they can afford to make. Matching contributions were considered as part of the overall compensation package. Plus, you trusted the CFO to pick out a good plan – one that was safe and would grow over the years.

Now there are so many companies that are tightening their belts and instead of cutting management bonuses and excessive management salaries, as they should, they have found a new way to screw over the desk jockeys and warehouse workers. They have pulled out of matching the 401 K contributions. So you non-upper management workers have just taken a pay cut that you didn’t even know you were taking. How depressing is that?

One of my favorite shows that I really enjoy watching is Undercover Boss. This inspiring reality show is where the big bosses are in disguise work amongst their employees to see how their companies are actually being run and what they plan on doing about it. There is a U.K. version as well, but I like the American version much better. If you ever get the chance to watch this reality show on CBS I think you would be impressed.

Mortgage Broker Training

It is so refreshing to hear some good, exciting positive news for once. I swear it seems like all I hear is sob stories from friends and family, co-workers and neighbors, along with all the other people who I come in contact with while I’m going about my daily business. Believe me I have had my own issues along the way as well. It’s just that it gets to me sometimes being surrounded by such pain and misery as what is being experienced since this economy crisis just keeps ruining people’s lives in so many ways, as you well know.

Once in a great while I will run across someone who has just gotten married and are buying a new home or having their baby and seem to be healthy and happy, weathering the storm fairly well with a big genuine smile on their face. Today while I was standing in line at the bank, I over heard the bank teller telling the customer in front of me about how excited she was over finding out that her 22-year-old step-son has finally “snapped out of it” as she put it and has been seriously looking into training to be mortgage broker something that he can do from home online. I have been going to this bank for so long that I know all the good folks that work there, so I didn’t feel bad about over hearing their conversation and having her (the bank teller) elaborate a bit more of her good news while taking care of my transactions. I just loved the look of happiness and pride on her face and wanted to savor every moment of that glow, because those types of faces have been few and far between these past 6 years.

Unfortunately there is still no light at the end of the tunnel which would provide so many people with some kind of hope.

 

Buzzed Means Drunk

A public service announcement-type of commercial came on the TV late last night, targeting young adults with a message about drunk driving. The unique aspect of this commercial was that it spoke their language to introduce a new concept to the audience. A young lady delivers the punch line that effectively says, “If you are buzzed, then you are drunk.” I thought that was an excellent way to make the point and might have an impact on some young people in denial about their intoxication level and drinking habits.

Obviously a lot of people still don’t get the idea that if they drink they shouldn’t drive. That’s what keeps a lot of good lawyers busy. I guess everyone who does drink will have at least one experience that demonstrates their intoxication limits to them. If they find that limit as a result of a DUI ticket, then they’ll need to find a good lawyer right away.
