My New Laptop by Compaq

Well I finally made my choice and went out and bought a new laptop today, from Compaq. After much researching on the Internet I came up with a good deal from the Best Buy web-site. I placed my order online and by the time I  got to the store they had it all ready for me to pick-up and time in no time flat.

I have to admit that I was a bit anxious about the whole setting up process, since I have not had to do anything  like that in many a years, but I have to admit that the process has been made a whole lot easier in recent years, so it didn’t take as long as I thought that it would, and only had to call a friend, who is a computer whiz, one time for assistance.

It will take a while for my fingers to get used to this new and different type of keyboard, and the mouse is a bit of a challenge, but I hope that in due time it will become second nature to me, as my old laptop did.

Shopping Around For a New Laptop

I do most of my work and personal business on my Laptop, it seems that where ever I go it goes along also. I fear that I have become very dependent on this piece of technology that keeps us all connected so well with each other and of course the Internet certainly is a must.

It saddens me to think that I will be needing a more updated version of what I have now, I’m not looking forward to the task ahead of me of comparison shopping to see what is out there that will be the best for what I need and what I’m willing to pay for it. I’ve had this one for over 5 years now and it has done real well but there is so much more out there these days and I’m now willing to try and replace it with a bigger and better version.

I’ll take my time, I know there are several websites out there that are designed to assist you with such a task, I think that I will start looking them out and taking them much more seriously now.
